New overseas staff coming
We have four staff coming from overseas in may for operations in the packing room and off shore. These four are experts in thier field and it has taken some time to make the arrangements.

Emma, new to the hatcheries
We have picked up the first of a series of new buildings that will be used for staff quarters, officers, and hatcheries.
The company currently has three freshwater hatcheries with everything from carp to rare Australian native fish. It has two marine hatcheries with design work on a large marine facility now underway. The same team that constucted our new residence and offices we hope to get up this year to rebuild our freshwater hatcheries which have has a lot of cyclone damage in the last two years. The hatcheries will do mainly australian native fish for the local and international market.
Australian Coral Farms is also in the process of buying three thousand glass tanks from overseas for expansion of the marine facility. This is in addition to a large number of plastic tanks in storage and more on the way.
Australian Coral farms are building facilities in tandem with its accumulation of operating licences in the fields of aquaculture and specimen collection.

Australian coral farms is attempting to expand its production of marine specimens by both quota accumulation and aquaculture. There is obviously a limit to how much quota can be accumulated due to the limit of licences and quota. There are for example 13 fish collecting licences in Western Australia with five of those having coral quota endorsements. The current total quota is 7,500 kg of coral for 20,000 km of coastline. Australian Coral Farms holds 4,000 kg of this
Future
The company believes the future is with offshore coral farming and has had applications for this with the Western Australia government
We are awaiting the assessment and approval of these offshore sites.
